Yen Tu Mountain

Yen Tu Mountain, 65 km from À La Carte Ha Long Bay, is one of the highest peaks in the Dong Trieu Mountains in the north-eastern area of Vietnam. Yen Tu Mountain, known as “The cradle of Buddhism in Vietnam”, located in Uong Bi Town, Quang Ninh Province with its natural magnificent landscape, preserving numerous historical relics. Standing on the highest peak of Yen Tu, the visitors might watch a panorama of the extensive North-Eastern Vietnam, Bach Dang River, and especially the natural seascape Halong Bay. Visitors to Yen Tu mountain can climb a stone path 6 km long, through bamboo and pine forests or take a cable car from Giai Oan valley to Hoa Yen pagoda, and from Mot Mai pagoda to An Ky Sinh statue.
